Drawer Insertion Instructions for Side-Mount Soft-Close Drawers

For transportation, we often remove drawers from the cabinet body. If you prefer to insert the drawers yourself, follow these steps to ensure smooth and proper soft-close function.

Note: this instruction is specifically for side-mount soft-close drawers.

Before You Start

Inspect the Slides and Mount Rails:

  • Check for any damage that may have occurred during transportation.

  • If you notice damage, contact us immediately, and we’ll resolve it for you.

  • If everything looks fine, proceed to the steps below.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Push Slide Rails into Position

    • Make sure the slide rails inside the cabinet are fully retracted.

  2. Insert the Left Slide

    • Align the drawer's left-side slide with the rail and begin sliding it in.

  3. Insert the Right Slide

    • Repeat on the right side, ensuring alignment with the rail.

  4. Push the Drawer Evenly

    • Push the drawer in slowly and evenly on both sides until you hear a snap sound.

  5. Manually Push the Drawer Fully In

    • Continue pushing the drawer in until it’s fully seated in the cabinet.

    • The last couple of inches may feel slightly stiff—that’s normal.

  6. Pull the Drawer Out Fully (Important Step)

    • Pull the drawer all the way out manually, ensuring both slides extend fully.

    • Check both slides to confirm they are completely extended.

  7. Test the Soft-Close Function

    • Push the drawer back in and open it normally. The soft-close feature should now work smoothly.
