Solar Power / Second Battery System For Overlanding Vehicle
ORIGINAL|Digital Plan

Production time: 48 hr
Share my solar power / second battery build on my overlanding Tacoma.
Structure:
I use 8020 T-Slot 2020 Aluminum Extrusion for the carcass frame and 1/2 baltic birch plywood with poly for the panels. It turned out great! Light weight but sturdy.
Specifications:
100A LiTime battery
100-200W solar panels
The solar panels can fully charge my battery within 2 days(100W) for regular sunlight which can support my max 45w fridge for 3 days.
See the electronic diagram below(my build is based on YouTuber DIY solar with Will).
